Joni Marie Iraci: I'm thrilled to be part of this new venture. Thanks for all your efforts. We as writers need to help each other out and stop being so cut throat and competitive (my experience in an MFA program.) Ephemera is so welcoming and every newsletter starts out with a thank you that is just so kind. Love you all, already.

Thanks, Joni. Appreciate you. The more the merrier in literature!

Hi! I'm interested in the Write-In Residency program, but before I subscribe, I must inform you that I'm nomadic and working remotely. Would you be willing to send my books to an address in Europe, should I win? And also, since I'm working remotely, the "upgrade of my writing space" would be more of a technological nature: my lap top is as old as Fenway Park. That wouldn't make for much a before-and-after picture, sadly. Would either of these be problematic?

Thank you for inquiring, Jack. That's a really good question. It would be difficult to get you the gift package, however not impossible. And you could very well use the funds to upgrade a laptop! That's a writing implement! And before after pictures of banged up laptops juxtaposing new ones would be as pleasing as a room upgrade. Where in Europe are you located?

I'm actually traveling. But I return to Germany every now and then to visit the in-laws. I'd really be interested in taking part in this – I need a new laptop DESPERATELY! Thanks very much for your reply and sorry it took so long to answer, we've since moved to our "winter quarters" (wink) in Spain.

Yes, it looks like we can ship to either location should you decide to enter. Thanks!
